The Smartcoach dailytraining paces are too slow for beginning runners, and they are too fast forcompetitive runners. But in your case, at first impression, that seems aboutright to me.
Easy pace isn'trocket science. Just run comfortably at a moderate effort which doesn't leaveyou out of breath.

Runner's World对几种训练速度的官方解释:
Easy Runs And Long Runs: The SmartCoach willassign you an Easy Run/Long Run training pace for 70+ percent of your weeklymiles. You don't need todo a Warmup and Cooldown with these runs. Just take it easy frombeginning to end. Some beginning runners find this pace too slow. They aretempted to run faster simply because they can, and because they think they willget in shape sooner. Please don't make this mistake. Slow runs are slow because that's the best pace for you to follow to build endurance without overtaxing your body. Relax andenjoy.
Tempo Runs: Depending on your selected race, the SmartCoach will give you a number of workouts labeled "TempoRuns." Tempo Runs are preceded by a Warmup and followed with a Cooldown.Veteran runners and coaches describe Tempo Runs as "hard but controled." You won't be able to talk comfortably during a Tempo Run, but neither should you feel as if you areracing.Stay controled. The Warmup and Cooldown are normally 1 mile each, butthey can increase as appropriate for you to hit your total distance goal forthe day.
Speedwork: Depending on your selected race, theSmartCoach will give you a number of workouts labeled "Speedwork."These workouts include a Warmup and Cooldown. In the middle of the speedworksession, you will run repeats of 800 meters to 1600 meters in a given time. Each repeat is followed by a recovery jog, and then another repeat, up to thetotal number of repeats for the day. Speedwork is harder and faster than Tempo Runs, but again, you shouldnot feel as if you are racing. The SmartCoach has carefully chosen pacesthat are appropriate for your ability and fitness level. If you have never doneSpeedwork before, don't be intimidated. You'll find these workouts do-able, andyou'll find that they can lead to dramatic improvements in your race times. TheWarmup and Cooldown are normally 1 mile each, but they can increase asappropriate for you to hit your total distance goal for the day.
